Who is this membership for?
Proof of student status is required in the form of a transcript or certificate of enrollment containing the student's first and last name, the name of the institution, and the period of enrolment corresponding to the current academic year. This document must be updated each time the membership is renewed. SWD members can maintain their status for up to one year after their last academic semester by renewing their membership.
Membership will be terminated if the member does not renew within three (3) months of expiry. If your membership has been terminated, we invite you to apply again.
What are the advantages of this membership status?
Eligibility for the AQEIPS bursary program, access to the monthly newsletter and individual support, participation in AQEIPS’ activities and projects, opportunities to collaborate on research projects and conferences, volunteer and mentoring opportunities, other benefits offered by our associative and institutional members.
SWD members can attend the AGM, become members of the Board of Directors, and vote during the AGM.
